Great local place. THE BEST Truffle Fries I ever had. If you see Vern Mac n Cheese on the menu, that’s from me! I custom requested the Mac n cheese with fried onions and add the Street Corn instead of the Chislic (I don’t eat meat) and it was AMAZING! Hope they add it to the menu. Our server was friendly and very attentive. Bought the 309 sauce to bring back home to Connecticut.
We stopped in randomly when passing through town. I’m glad we did. Everything we ordered was awesome and the service was great. I’m so uncomfortably full right now because I couldn’t let any of this SoDak mac go to waste.
I'm on a cross country motorcycle trip and rolled into Hot Springs late in the evening. I initially stoped at the local pizza joint thankfully they were closed because it lead me to one of the best dinning experiences I have had in a long time. Stephanie was super nice, friendly, and very attentive. The food was spectacular. I had the blue heat wings which came with a side salad and the big porker sandwich with sweet corn. The sandwich was huge and delicious but the sweet corn really surprised me. It was a creamy corn with sweet peppers, the flavor was unique. As a person who has been in the industry for over 25 years it's really nice to dine in an establishment that is run by people who truly still care.
As a medical traveler this is one of the best places I have ever went to! Being from Louisiana and finding this gold mine with such a great atmosphere reminded me of home. And not to mention the food is delicious! It don't matter what your order everything on the menu is great! 100/10! I recommend!
Seriously, delicious burgers and fries! Got the Rodeo and the B*tchen Good burgers. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Fries were seasoned well and crispy. Bar had just tapped a new keg of Bomber Mountain, which paired perfectly! Friendly staff too! Search no further, just go try The 309 General!!
The best food in town!!!! The owners and staff are very friendly. They really make you feel like you’re at home. This place is really a gem. If you’re in town dont leave without stopping. Definitely my fav!!!
We stayed in Hot Springs and visited here 3 times. You MUST try the rattlesnake eggs but ask for the raspberry sauce to dip them in. Trust me! We also had the “Hatch” burger to which we added cowboy candy. Be cautious of the hot fries. They are REALLY spicy! Race is an excellent host and bartender.
